Just received a ¥100 dividend 🥹🥹🥹

Usually, I choose the default option to immediately reinvest dividends and forget about them entirely. But because I decided to share my investment journey with everyone, I turned on email notifications for receiving dividends.

I just bought this fund on December 31, 2024

And today I just received ¥100 and I am as happy as a kid given candy 🥳😍

Even though this is a tiny amount of money, it’s because I invested very little; if you invest more, you will receive more.
Especially when the fund’s value goes down but I still receive dividends, it makes me really happy. This fund sends dividends monthly. It has only been 10 days since I bought this fund, and I’ve already received a profit 😌

I will take advantage of the time when prices are down like this and buy more.
This is a very good type of investment trust that I want to introduce to you all: REIT (short for Real Estate Investment Trust), in Japanese it is リート. These funds invest in real estate projects and they divide the investment amount so that retail investors like me can also participate. In the past, you needed billions to be able to invest in stocks. Now, people like me can comfortably invest. Most REIT funds pay fairly high and regular dividends because the demand for housing and land always exists, from individuals to businesses. Everyone needs space to live and work. 🤓
Today, I will just share this one code for now. Next time I will share more about Japanese REITs, and US REITs too!
