Hello, I am Hana Dang, the founder and author of JPViva. I am a working mother and personal investor living and working in Tokyo, Japan since 2016.

Professionally, I am currently a Team Manager at Hays Japan specializing in IT Contracting & Recruitment Solutions, where I have been working since 2018. My areas of expertise include:

  • Sub-contracting, outsourcing, and B2B/freelance solutions (業務委託).
  • Temp-to-perm / Contract-to-hire (紹介予定派遣).
  • Cross-border IT talent solutions: supporting international companies with local project delivery in Japan, sponsoring work visas under Hays payroll, and supplying tech talent for ERP, CRM, Cloud, data migration, cyber security, and digital transformation (DX) initiatives.

Previously, I worked as an English Materials Developer at DTP Online Corporation in Ho Chi Minh City (2015–2016).

Education and language qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English Linguistics and Literature – University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM, 2010–2014).
  • Japanese Language Program Certificate – Futaba College of Foreign Languages (双葉外語学校, 2016–2017).
  • Certifications: JLPT N2, TOEIC 950. Fluent and professional working proficiency in Vietnamese, English, Japanese, and Chinese.

Drawing on 10 years of professional experience across Vietnam and Japan alongside the journey of raising children, I created JPViva to document and share hands-on experiences: from opening brokerage accounts, selecting mutual funds, investing through NISA and iDeCo, and navigating taxes and social insurance, to building daily habits that balance career and family life.
